Here are some great reviews:

“Dungeon & Hero is a fantastic game - Graphically, D&H looks like the older fashioned Final Fantasy games - Gameplay itself is entertaining, and can tend to get addictive. What more is there to say? Go buy it! Play it! Love it! Enjoy it!” 5/5 -- www.WhatsoniPhone.com

“At $2.99 this game is an absolute steal and I would recommend that you buy it.” 8.5/10 -- www.ifonereviews.blogspot.com

Pros and cons of Dungeon & Hero app for iPhone and iPad

Dungeon & Hero app good for

Fan de rpg laisser vous emporter ce jeu est asser beau (surtt les skill) jouabiliter bof mais on sy habitu
Dungeon & Hero looks great, plays like a classic action/RPG. If Zelda and Diablo had a baby, it would be this game ;) . In town you get quests, buy / sell equipment, talk to NPCs. There is minimal grinding, once ni a while youll have to kill monsters to reach the minimum level requirement for the next quest, but otherwise its quite fluid. The inventory, level up system and interface are great, and with 3 classes to choose from it adds significant replay to the game. Youll get the occasional rare monster that will be stronger and can drop an enhanced weapon or piece of armor. Graphics are crisp, and since patch 1.0.1, the framerate issues that people are mentioning are now resolved, the orientation of the screen corrected, and the controls tweaked. As of now Im fully enjoying this game after patch and highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys action RPGs! 5 stars!
Awesome little game! It really does remind you of Diablo, even down to the rareness categories of loot, the home town with merchants, rare enemies, etc. Very detailed, rich SNES style RPG, my only complaint was control was tedious with no diagonal an you have to stop with each direnction change, and cannot just glide around the arrow pad. It seems that even that is fixed now! (not the diagonal part but cant win em all) Price appropriate for the hours of gameplay, detail, and character classes.
Story: 8/10 Gameplay: 10/10 Music: 7/10 Graphics: 9/10 Overall: 8.5/10 Wow! No other RPG even comes close to Dungeon & Hero; so far this is as good as it gets. Stunning! Dungeon & Hero has managed to surprise with superior gameplay which surpasses even Chronicles of Inotia. Simply amazing - Dungeon & Hero is a masterpiece!
Its a good rpg with immense replayability and good controls.
This game is awsome a great hack and slash time killer. My favorite app so far. Very much worth the 5$!!!

Some bad moments

The music is not good, and each song is less than 25 seconds long (as far as I got) and the loop of the tracks are badly done. Plus, it needs an autosave feature when you enter a town or field. I got to lvl 5, died, and was sent to lvl 1 (which is where I last saved). Arrows are too small, and why does the music always have to stop when you enter a menu or when you talke to someone. I would not reccomend this to anyone at the moment. Not bad graphics though. Story: 6/10 Gameplay: 4/10 Music: 4/10 Graphics: 7/10 Overal: 4/10
After reading good reviews I expected this to be a good game. It isnt. Heres why: The controls are cumbersome and unintuitive on the iPhone. It is obvious this is some old game with lame 4 directional controls slapped on. It could be so much better, but instead youll waste your time mashing tiny (on screen) buttons and wishing you could do something as simple as a diagonal move. You can move by touch, but the game isnt designed for it - and the whole screen moves and it just doesnt work. Overall everything takes twice as long to do than it should, even the menus are terrible. The graphics are ancient and look sooo outdated, after playing modern games on the iPhone I know it is capable of much much more. The story is laughable and isnt even worth following. So, it was a waste of $3 for me. Save your money and wait for a good developer to release a REAL, modern, easy to control, good looking, and fun to play RPG for the touch/ iPhone! It is just a matter of time... otherwise, youll be wasting your time strugglign with this game.
Really, how to ruin a good game, chillingo is making a great example of this. This game is really good, but the controls are so HORRIBLE that you CANNOT play it at all.!!!!!
wow talk about pixelize graphic worse then the old nes for a powerfull portable gaming device like the ipid touch !!! tell me is a joke ... now where is the real game ?
Sure, the movement controls are slightly butchered, but everything else is fine. Since its one of the few RPGs with actual adventure, I like it. Good price too, and after playing Vay and Arvale, I needed another decent iPod Touch RPG.
The controls should be smooth. Im constantly looking at the arrows to aim right for slight movements. U get hit like twice and u dieif ur a magician.
